Undergraduate Advising Council

Appointment:  By Provost via Deans & Directors of Colleges

Chair:  The Chair and Chair Elect are elected by the Council and serve for 2 years.

The UAC mission is to support the academic success of UF undergraduate students through promotion of effective academic advisement. To achieve this mission the committee strives to meet the following objectives through regular meetings:

1. Discuss and make policy recommendations
2. Promote equity of service provision through consistency of policy application
3. Share information and best practices
4. Report regularly to the academic deans, and
5. Promote professional development among the UF advising community.
