University Committee Nominations

Each year, the University of Florida offers faculty and staff the opportunity to participate in its governance through various university Presidential Committees, Joint Committees, Faculty Senate Committees and Faculty Senate Councils. The UF Faculty Senate website contains specific committee and council descriptions.

The Senate Nominating Committee invites you to submit nominations, including self-nominations, for fall 2026 appointments on these faculty open committee, council and board seats and open staff committee seats.

If you choose to nominate a colleague, please confirm their willingness to serve before submitting.

Indicating a willingness to serve “as needed on any committee" will increase the likelihood of an appointment.

Please submit the completed form by 5 PM, January 31, 2026.
