Student Conduct Committee

Presidential Designee:  Vice President for Student Life

Appointment:  By Vice President for Student Life via nominations, Undergraduate students must have taken prerequisite course CCJ 4934. Composition – Student Conduct Committees are composed of three (3) or five (5) members, consisting of Faculty/University Officials, and Students. The Director of Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution will designate a Conduct Committee Advisor for each Hearing. The Conduct Committee Advisor will select a hearing chair for each hearing from within the committee.

Responsibilities:  

The Student Conduct Committee (SCC) may conduct Hearings on charges alleging violation of Regulation 4.040, The Student Honor and Student Conduct Code. Recommend sanctions to the Dean of Students when (it has been determined by the committee that) a violation of Regulation 4.040 has occurred.

Term:  1-year, renewable appointment.
