Responsibilities:  

 
 
  1. Administer admissions to the University and its various components.
  2. Recommend undergraduate admissions policy to the Faculty Senate and the Council of Academic Vice Presidents for approval by the Board of Trustees.
  3. Review requests from students for exceptions to University admission requirements referred to it by the Admissions Office.
  4. Participate in the initial admission decision for non-high school graduates requesting admission to the freshman class and in other admission cases referred to it by the freshman admissions officers.
  5. To conduct admission hearings involving alleged falsification of application for admission or readmission.
