Health Center Student Conduct Standards Committee
Presidential Designee: Vice President for Student Life
Appointment: o By Vice President for Student Life via nominations from each Health Science Center College, Undergraduate students must have taken prerequisite course CCJ 4934. o Health Science Conduct Committees are composed of three (3) or five (5) members, with one (1) member being a Faculty/University Official/Student from a Health Science college. Student Conduct Committees are selected by the Director of Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution or designee, who will determine which cases will be heard by a HSCC. The Director of Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution will designate a Conduct Committee Advisor for each Hearing. The Conduct Committee Advisor will select a hearing chair for each hearing from within the committee.

- Health Science Conduct Committee (HSCC) may conduct Hearings on charges alleging violation of Regulation 4.040, The Student Honor Code, as well as violations of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability (HIPAA) or any other applicable Law concerning patient privacy within the Health Science Center colleges where the alleged violation occurs in a Health Science Center college course and the Accused Student is majoring in a Health Sciences Program.
- Recommend sanctions to the Dean of Students when (it has been determined by the committee that) a violation of Regulation 4.040 has occurred.
