1. Insure all diving activities that are officially related to the University of Florida are performed in accordance with the University of Florida Diving Safety Regulations.
2. Identify needs including training and ancillary support services that will increase the safety and effectiveness of university dive instruction and research activities.
3. Review actions of the Dive Officer in relation to the instructional and research responsibilities to assure that regulatory burdens are minimized while safety and logistic support services are cost effective and quality of instruction is maintained.
